Acme Animation Factory for SNES

The wonderful wacky world of Acme Animation Factory brings your favorite cartoon characters to the gaming world.  You have been given the creative genius that is behind Looney Tunes inspirations enabling you to create your own cartoon.  You are given a selection of objects to help you plan out the cartoon story with the exceptionally famous Looney Tunes characters.  Acme Animation Factory was first released in 1994.  It was created for the Super Nintendo (SNES).  The gaming software was created by Sunsoft, one of the more popular software companies for Nintendo at the time.  The Sunsoft software allows you to manipulate the graphics, animation, and music of the cartoon in order to save and replay the cartoon as many times as you wish.

When Acme Animation Factory loads you will be given a choice of what you want to do.  You can elect to make the music, color your characters, and even color the background.  The best way to go about the creation of a cartoon is to understand what game cheats will help you in creating the overall cartoon.  You will also need to know where to begin.

Before you can assign music or even a background you should have a good idea of the games characters you can implement.  By clicking on the icon that looks like a camera you are taken to the character area.  From this section you will be able to choose Daffy, Bugs, or other Looney Tunes characters.  Below the character is a panel of different color palates to choose from.  You can go with the traditional colors of the character or add your own flavor.  There are a couple of different tools to use, but the pencil will allow you to get within the lines the best.

Games like Acme Animation Factory are centered on the creation of the cartoon, which means you want to have a good ear for music.  After you have created the characters for your cartoon you need to hit save and then exit that screen back to the main screen.  This is where our game cheats come in.  At the title screen the word Looney is spelled out above the character in the center.  By clicking on the letters of the word you can reveal hidden sound effects.  You can also click on the word Tune below the characters to reveal more hidden sound effects.  The game cheats tell us to select in the center of the letter, such as with O.

After uncovering the hidden sound effects you can move on to the section that looks like a musical symbol.  The symbol is a note.  Upon entering this screen you can choose what type of instrument you wish to play.  Bugs, Daffy, Pepe Le Pew, or Taz will appear.  On the music sheet above the character you have to decide where to place the notes.  You can do this at random to see what kind of Looney song you get or make more of an effort to create a real song.  You can continue the song for as a long as you wish, changing the instruments and where the notes are.

Once the song has been created, save and exit the music screen.  Now that you have your characters and your music you can start creating the background of the cartoon.  With our SNES controller you will need to click on the pencil and paint brush above the movie reel.  In this area you can color the background that comes up.  You can also add bushes and other objects to the background.  There is a list of tools at the top of the screen and the color palette below, much like the screen you saw with the cartoon characters.

Acme Animation Factory will then allow you to save the entire cartoon to play it with all parts together.  If you like the cartoon you see you can elect to save it to the SNES memory.

If you are done for the day you can still find your old cartoon the next time you turn the game back on. The game will ask you to save or load.  By hitting the load choice you are able to find out what cartoons you have saved in the past and replay them for everyone to enjoy.  Games like Acme Animation Factory are truly about your imagination.  Acme Animation Factory provides an outline for your genius, especially if you have a hard time drawing on paper.  “That’s All Folks!” as Porky Pig says!
