2 Spicy for Sega

The interactive Japanese game 2 Spicy (Too Spicy) is a Sega arcade special that is great fun to play. This shoot em up thriller is among the first of any of their games that integrates a versus mode into the multiplayer light gun design. With this special feature, players can take full advantage of how the system allows cover movements.

This storyboard game is a testosterone dream that allows players to fulfill their fantasies of going one on one against crime bosses and thugs. The mano a mano action is full of shoot em ups and take’em downs as you roll fire and fight your way to the top while cutting a wide swath through the ranks of the bad guys.

Pedals are included so that the players keep one foot resting on each while playing the game. The pedals allow you to use your feet to move your particular character to different directions involving cover the entire time. Both right and left movement is available depending on which pedal you press.
These pedals are used in games like Time Crisis, House of the Dead and Virtual Cop.

2 Spicy will seem a little familiar to players who have played Time Crisis in the past. Having two pedals to direct character movement makes this one of the Sega games that stands out however. You can use them to help your character run behind barriers and take headshots and potshots at your opponents.

Players of this Sega game are able to pop out of their cover briefly in order to shoot at their targets. Regular shooting of the enemies occurs while the character is moving about on screen. The ability to move about during battle is definitely a plus because most of the weapon games that involve light guns only allow the player to maintain a set position.

There are 8 different characters in the 2 Spicy Sega arcade game that can be utilized by players. Tetsuya is one of the regular characters and his weapon is a customized version of an M1911. Ming-Hua is another standard regular but his weapons of choice are a blazing pair of dual Beretta 9000s.

A popular character and avatar of many players is that of Alexander who uses a special scope on his Glock pistol to snipe at players on screen. The character who cuts the enemy down with burning blasts from a Taurus Raging Bull revolver is Sicks. The game also includes Laurence who uses a special Benelli M3 revolver.

There is also a boss and a female sub boss found in this Sega arcade style game. The sub boss is a female, which is a bit of a surprise to some who consider this light shooting game to be testosterone laden. Cindy, the sub boss, carries and uses a powerful M79 grenade launcher. The final boss, according to this game’s storyboard, is that of Shadow who wields a Beretta M93R.

The way that players reload and hide from the enemies who are looking for them is to point their light gun off screen momentarily. Remember that the foot pedals will keep you moving laterally between the points of cover that are available on screen. You can also inflict some massive damage by destroying objects on screen like cars or giant drums and barrels. If you trip up and get caught in these explosions, your character will also suffer.

For players who want to rack up the most points quickly the best thing to do is keep on the move. Game cheats will tell you that this keeps others from getting a good shot in if you utilize your movement and cover effectively.

Players have access to regular screen shots and can zoom in for special attacks. This is done by holding the cursor on a designated enemy target for a few seconds. When the zoom feature is activated, you can then go for an extreme amount of damage and points with a big head shot.

Good game cheats are still being discovered by 2 Spicy players but you need to remember that all of the characters have their own strength and weapons, and you need a little different plan of action with each one. Try using the zoom in attacks as frequently as you can because this gives you the advantage of long range targeting.

There are often some barrels that will be seen dropping behind some of the enemies. If you try to shoot these, especially at first sight, you can often kill the opponent just with the damage from the explosion. If you don’t score a solid kill, you will at least be able to inflict wounding damage to the character that will make taking him out much easier.
